We would die for this duo: Ariana Grande and The Weeknd release "Die For You (Remix)"
Frequent collaborators and longtime friends Ariana Grande and The Weeknd released another song to add to their list of collaborations on February 24th. “Die For You (Remix)” quickly hit the top of the charts, claiming the number 6 spot in its first week. This was no surprise as their other collaborations - "Love Me Harder", "Off The Table", and "Save Your Tears (Remix)" were chart toppers as well.
Fans were alerted of the release when both artists shared a post on their social media platforms three days before the set release date. The post was a video of Ariana mixing her added vocals, effectively sharing her part of the recording process. Ariana captioned the video saying she “wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set.” Ariana was cast as Glinda in an upcoming movie adaptation of the Broadway musical “Wicked” that is actively filming. Since the announcement of her role in “Wicked”, Ariana hasn’t released any new music, making “Die For You (Remix)” the first song Ariana has released in almost two years.
