Tony Mantor Uplifts The Underdogs In His Single “Why Not Me?”
The four time Grammy nominee has a heart for the people in his community that often get overlooked. Tony Mantor is a singer/songwriter, pianist, and producer based in Nashville Tennessee. “Why Not Me” was originally released as a country song accompanied by a video thanking First Responders for all that they do. The project was meant to show gratitude and support for quite heroes that dedicate their lives to helping others.
Since the first release, Mantor has created an alternate version of the song, accompanied by a video to raise awareness for the Autistic community in Nashville. The adult contemporary ballad is a heartwarming underscore for the video, and it shows the kind of person that Tony Mantor is. When explaining the purpose of his latest works, Mantor says he hopes “to promote autism awareness, acceptance, and understanding throughout the world.”
The lyrics of the song encourage the listener to pursue their dreams, and to realize their worth. It advocates that if you put your mind to something, no matter who you are, you can achieve it.
