SMOOTH JAZZ ARTIST MARSHALL CHARLOFF RELEASES BRAND NEW SINGLE "2 CHORDS"

Hailing from the Minneapolis music scene, smooth jazz artist and Prince associate, Marshall Charloff releases his new single, 2 Chords, today to all DSP’s via Amped/AWAL (Kobalt).

“Inspiration usually comes when I take myself out of the equation, and that’s how “2 Chords” was birthed. I was sitting at home, mindlessly plucking my acoustic guitar with my hands, but really, my soul was the one driving force. As a lyricist, I’m far more inclined to write in the figurative than in the literal sense, but with “2 Chords”, what came out was a hybrid of both. Good music is just vibration in the right order, and I really liked the sound of those first 2 chords vibrating together. It touched me profoundly. Although literal in one sense, the lyrics speak of the duality of my love affair with the music and how it selflessly and continually reciprocates”.
