Payton Howie to Kick Off New Year with New Music

Payton Howie is always down for a good time, but in her upcoming single “Country Before Me,” she shows her heart. Kicking off 2022 with new music on January 14, “Country Before Me” pays homage to the Women of Country who came before – the struggles, the triumphs and the songs.

"Women like Loretta, Dolly and Reba set the bar real high and changed the nature of the industry for us girls," exclaims Howie. "As an artist who falls into the edgier side of country music, I believe we owe it to the trendsetters that went before us and put out bold music with bold stories."

“Country Before Me” follows her rowdy party anthem “Never Go Home,” which was featured on several Spotify editorial playlists, including Country Rock and Fresh Finds Country: Best of 2021. “Country Before Me” and “Never Go Home” will both be featured on the upcoming Youngblood EP, coming February 2022.
