Esposito is the New Big Man on Campus
There’s big news happening on Music Row after an announcement made by Warner Music Group (WMG) the morning of Monday, May 16. After serving as the President and CEO since 2009, John Esposito has been promoted to the Chairman and CEO of Warner Music Nashville.
As a man that wears many hats, John Esposito also serves as Chairman of the CMA Board of Directors, a Governor on the Nashville Chapter Board of the Recording Academy, and Board Member of the T.J. Martell Foundation, Country Radio Broadcasters, and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation. It takes a truly well-rounded individual to balance so much responsibility and do a great job. Esposito is known for doing just that.
In his seven years as President and CEO, Esposito has seen incredible success with WMN artists. Under Esposito, seven artists achieved their first No. 1, seven platinum records and 16 platinum singles were produced, as well countless success stories from individual artists. Esposito’s leadership has had an immense positive impact on the company.
To honor John Esposito’s promotion as WMN Chairman, he will receive the Presidential Award for Outstanding Executive Achievement from the Music Business Association. This award will be presented to him at the Music Biz Convention on May 17 in Nashville, Tenn.
