Malachi Gagnon’s “Think About Me” Proves the Power of Authentic Songwriting
Malachi Gagnon is paving the way for the next generation of country stars, one song at a time.
Sixteen year-old singer-songwriter transports listeners to a world of alt-country hometown heartbreak with his new single, “Think About Me.”
Inspired by the likes of Noah Kahan, The Lumineers, and Gregory Alan Isakov, “Think About Me,” perfectly encapsulates the all-to familiar uncomfortable sensation of missing an ex post-break up. Produced by Spencer Bradham, the track features iconic mandolin melodies, catchy vocal lines, and perfectly balanced rhythms.
Over the past two years, the viral sensation has amassed over 4.5 streams on Spotify, capturing fans with his authentic lyrics and down-to-earth Folk-Pop tracks. “Writing songs is one of my greatest passions, which is one of the reasons I love country music. I’m a storyteller and country music tells a story like none other,” Gagnon said. The established up-and-comer has been collaborating with hit Nashville writers David Ray Stephens and Phil Mosley. “I love the feeling of writing a song and finding the perfect melody to fit the emotion, then watching it come together and being able to share it with people.”
“Think About Me,” as well as the rest of Gagnons’ discography, can be found on all streaming platforms. To keep up with Malachi, you can follow him on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and FaceBook.
