BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez “Ice Cream” Music Video is Perfectly Sweet

BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez have finally dropped their new collaboration, “Ice Cream,” and with the bop a music video to go with it. It’s a delicious visual of the artists playing tennis, driving toy cars, and of course, both serving as well as eating ice cream.

In its opening, Gomez drives an ice cream truck, and the BLACKPINK members appear to be playing on a playground, sliding down a slide. The video is a pastel explosion, and the fashion nods to both 50’s and 90’s trends. Gomez dresses in pin-up, and the BLACKPINK ladies dance in colorful, edgy plaids.They ride bikes down a street that looks like it’s straight out of the board game Candyland, and were sure to include some of their signature choreography. The artists didn’t let the pandemic get in the way of filming - while the KPop group filmed in South Korea, Gomez filmed from California, where she’s been quarantining. Though they didn’t appear in any scenes together, it flowed perfectly.
