TIN PAN SOUTH 2016 KICKS OFF


Full Round of Rounds Tonight

(Nashville, Tennessee...) - April 5, 2016 - Regions Bank hosted several hundred songwriters, music industry and business representatives in the lobby of their Music Row Roundabout offices last night to kick off the 24th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. This is the ninth consecutive year Regions has been the presenting sponsor of the highly-anticipated event, and tonight over 80 songwriters are scheduled to take the stage at some of Nashville's most popular venues.

Fresh off winning her first ACM Award, Kelsea Ballerini will join Josh Kerr, Scott Stepakoff and Forest Glen Whitehead at the Listening Room Café late show presented by NASH FM 103.3. Maddie & Tae have been added to the round featuring Jessi Alexander, Cary Barlowe, Jonathan Singleton and Josh Thompson at the early show of new venue The Country. The Commodore Grille late show will host CCM songwriters Audrey Assad, Josh Blakesley, Cindy Morgan and others.

One major change tonight is the Hard Rock Café late show will now feature Alyssa Bonagura, Morgan Evans, Emerson Hart and other special guests. Patrons are encouraged to visit www.TinPanSouth.com for the most up-to-date schedule and any last-minute lineup changes.

Individual tickets will be available at the door of most shows, and prices range from $10-25.

Produced by Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Tin Pan South reigns as the world's largest all-songwriter festival. Last year close to 350 talented songwriters performed 92 shows at ten of Nashville's top music venues. Thousands of music fans attend the event annually to hear songwriters tell stories behind hit songs they have written and perform the songs as they were originally composed. Regions Bank returns for the ninth year as the presenting sponsor of the event.
