Ty Dolla $ign Recruits Post Malone for a New Collaboration, "Spicy"

Collaborators Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone have teamed up once again for the release of their new song, "Spicy." The song is an infectiously melodic and lively tune, featuring the duo's usual themes of boasting their luxurious lifestyles. 

     The lyrics tell the story about a woman interested in their money. It begins with the chorus sung by Ty Dolla $ign, about the girl he calls a "spicy lil mama." He brags about his luxurious lifestyle and the money she's spending time with him for, rapping "I buy her all the designer, but she's still leaving tomorrow." Post Malone follows after another verse sung by Ty Dolla $ign, singing about how the girl is crazy but that's how he likes her to be. He references his and Ty Dolla $ign's 2018 collaboration, "Psycho," singing "Met her in the club, they were playin' 'Psycho.'" The track is upbeat and melodic, while still containing the duo's signature trap inspired beats, creating a contagiously lively song overall.
