Feature Review/Video: "Until I Found You"

Fast rising American singer-songwriter, Stephen Sanchez, released his most famous single “Until I Found You” back in September of 2021. It is currently number 29 on the Billboard top 100 and has over 590 million streams on Spotify alone. It blew up on TikTok about a year ago and is still continuing to generate buzz.

This sweet love song tugs on your heartstrings and will make you want to fall in love. Stephen says “the song isn’t mine anymore, it’s like everybody else’s song” because many are using it for weddings and proposals. He wrote this song about his real life girlfriend he loved at the time, and said “that’s all I needed it to be.”

“Until I Found You” makes you feel like you are falling in love in the 1950’s. The music video perfectly encapsulates the entire feel of this song. His unique old-timey sound stems from his biggest inspirations. They include African-American vocal groups, The Platters and The Ink Spots.

This song is sure to put a smile on your face and think about the ones you love. Or these lyrics act like a warm hug when you don't have any hope of finding love.

This Nashville based artist released his new single "Evangeline" in January of this year and is already a huge hit. Stephen's fan base is constantly growing and stopping no time soon.
