A rising star in Detroit, Ellison mixes old school R&B with current Pop sounds to create a sound that is contemporary and classic.
His new single 'Sing' produced by Grammy Award winning engineer/producer Chuck Alkazian (Soundgarden, Eminem, Madonna, Royce Da 5'9", Jason Hartless, MC SKULE, Trust Company, Pop Evil, and Sponge) is a classic sing along in line with Pharell Williams’ 'Happy'.
Ellison recently opened for 10X Grammy winner and music icon Chaka Khan at the Momentum Music festival. He also won a regional artist competition at Hollywood Casino and was a Top 5 finisher in Michigan’s 2018 State Fair Superstar Singing Competition.
As a guitarist and band member he's played on studio recordings and in concert with Grammy Award winning R&B artist Kelly Price, he's jammed on stage with world renowned group Hilsong, he's opened for multi-platinum selling band Switchfoot, played in front of thousands in Copenhagen's Town Hall Square in Denmark and stood on stage at Ford Field and played in front of over 20,000 people as part of a combined band for the city of Detroit.
