Country music singer Brett Young is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Mills after meeting over ten years ago in Arizona where she attended ASU. “SHE SAID YES!!!!” Brett posted on Instagram yesterday along with an adorable photo of the two sharing a kiss, her custom ring proudly displayed on her left hand. The ring, designed by Brett himself with the help of David Kodner Jewelry, includes his and Taylor’s initials. Brett’s self-titled album, which includes three #1 hits so far and sits at #8 this week on Billboard’s Top Country Albums after spending 53 weeks on the chart, was inspired by Brett and Taylor’s relationship. The couple originally dated for six years before splitting up when Brett made the move to Nashville—only to get back together. “There was never any bad blood; it was just the wrong time for us. We recently got back in touch and realized that we were both finally in the same place and knew it was right,” the 36-year-old singer exclusively told People.
