George Strait returned to the stage at the StraitToVegas Kickoff Concert


On April 22, in Las Vegas George Strait returned to the stage and captivated the audience for over two hours. He incorporated several Merle Haggard covers along with performing his newest release Cold Beer Conversation.

The sold out show, which launched his concert series, held over 19,222 fans, which he thanked multiple times throughout the show. He wore his usual Wrangler shirt, cowboy hat, boots, and denim. The stage was set up in the middle of the brand new T-Mobile Arena. As the night came to an end, the crowd grew louder and louder until Strait and his band returned to the stage for a 4 set encore which included "All my Ex's Live in Texas," "I Saw God Today," "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash, and the finale was "The Cowboy Rides Away."

Kacey Musgraves opened the show with an hour long set. She wore her white sequin country get up. Musgraves informed the audience on how honored she was to open for Strait on his Strait To Vegas Kickoff Concert.

She stated, " Thank you so much for showing up early, It means a lot to this girl from Texas who is a massive George Strait fan."
